SchoolFit was invited to lead a full day demonstration at the 5th annual PowerFit Day event, which is hosted at Jacob Hespeler Secondary School on behalf of the Waterloo Region School Board. Event organizer Greg White had requested that our professional team lead an instructional clinic for 350 students and Phys-Ed teachers from 7 different Waterloo Region schools. We were happy to meet this request, and the event was a huge success! The purpose of the event was to educate students and teachers about new methods of exercise that are available to them. We chose to educate the group on the benefits of suspended bodyweight training, namely the Post-Up Hang Training System developed by Hangtime Fitness Inc. This style of group training allows for large groups to perform a high intensity strength workout at one time. During this particular clinic, we were able to train groups of 48 participants simultaneously. All of the participants experienced a highly effective and intense total body workout in less than 30 minutes.
