This is a win-win for both the school and the donor corporation. The challenge that exists is that many corporations do not know what to donate, and to whom the donation should be awarded. By the same token, schools experience the challenge of not knowing which corporations are willing to donate and also do not feel comfortable soliciting potential donors. This is where we come in, SchoolFit acts as a broker in the donation process and ensures that both parties realize the greatest possible benefit from the donation made.

Who do we donate to?

SchoolFit will locate an appropriate recipient school in your community, or a community of your choice. We have a long list of schools across Canada who are in need of your generosity, and we will ensure that the appropriate school receives your donation.

What do we donate?

Your corporation may not understand the needs of a school fitness program, and as a result may have a difficult time making an appropriate donation. One of our SchoolFit professional consultants will work directly with your corporation, and the selected recipient school, to ensure that the donated funds are used to purchase quality products that suit the individual needs of that particular school. This will GUARANTEE that your donation is used in the most effective manner possible.

How do we donate?

It’s simple, just have an authorized representative contact us and we will setup a donor registration package for your corporation. Once we have completed the registration, our team will organize payment via cheque or wire transfer. As soon as the donation is complete, your corporation will receive an official government recognized charitable donation tax receipt.

What will our school receive as a donation?

This is really up to you, and our consultants will work directly with your faculty to ensure that the donated equipment meets the specific needs of your school. A donation is only worthwhile if it adds value and satisfies an identifiable need within your fitness program, we GUARANTEE that the donated funds will be used to purchase the MOST appropriate fitness solutions for your facility.

How do we receive the donation?

First of all, your school must be a registered member of the SchoolFit program. Make sure that your school has been enrolled in our program, as all donations will be provided on a first come first serve basis. As soon as we have assigned a donor partner to your school, we will provide your administrative department with the appropriate documentation required in preparing a charitable donation tax receipt. Once your school has approved the applicable tax receipt, we will finalize the purchase of the donated equipment on your behalf. SchoolFit will arrange all delivery and installation of donated items as required, and will also ensure that all donated items are protected under warranty.

Note: SchoolFit does not charge a fee for the donation brokerage service, 100% of all donated funds are used to purchase appropriate fitness solutions for each partner school.
