Get your students working together to combat obesity and inactivity! SchoolFit offers unique fundraising solutions that incorporate the efforts of your students. Our team will organize and coordinate a single day event that requires your students to work in teams, they will work together to raise money and to complete the physical challenge of the event! SchoolFit provides all fundraising materials and will support your faculty during the weeks leading up to the event, as well as professional instruction for each physical challenge. On event day, your students will look forward to an action packed day full of entertainment provided by our world class team of performers! With a little motivation, your students could raise all of the required funds to properly outfit the fitness facility at your school!
Our feature fundraising event for the 2010-2011 academic year is the SchoolFit Spin-A-Thon. This is a fun filled event that will definitely make your students sweat! Students will work in teams of 4 to complete this 6 hour long Spinning challenge, with each individual student completing 90 minutes of exercise throughout the event. Each team will be responsible for generating donation pledges from friends and family who wish to support them in completing the Spin-A-Thon, the donated funds will be used to purchase much needed fitness equipment for the fitness facility at their respective school. The top earning teams will be rewarded with valuable prizes such as Nike apparel, and student gym memberships provided by GoodLife Fitness Clubs of Canada!
